Electro-Optics, Inc., the preeminent manufacturer of detector
products for analytical instrumentation, research, defense
and aerospace markets, is seeking Manufacturing Associates
to join our team in Sturbridge, MA. The openings are for
2nd Shift on the MCP manufacturing team.
Duties include, but are not limited to, operating various types
of fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, lathes, furnaces
and deposition machines and inspection equipment such as microscopes
and electronic tests stands in multiple work cells, while following
ISO-9000 procedures and specifications.
Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent, ability
to work in a self-managed, continuous-improvement oriented team
environment, work either 4- or 5-day work weeks, competently
lift 30 lbs, work with chemicals, and wear a clean room suit.
Prior glass manufacturing experience and familiarity with Oracle
and Microsoft Office are highly desirable.
